Peter is a NYC-based stand-up comic with a passport full of stamps and a set full of punchlines. Raised in China, Australia, New Zealand, New Jersey and New England, Peter brings an outsider’s eye and an insider’s charm to every stage he steps on.  His comedy mixes sharp observations, wild family stories, and just the right amount of chaos. Whether he’s roasting cultural norms, navigating relationships, or unpacking life with his wonderfully weird relatives, Peter keeps the crowd laughing and guessing the whole way through.  He’s performed at top venues like The Wilbur, The Gramercy, The Comedy Store, Laugh Factory, and more. He’s also hit festivals across the country—from SF Sketchfest and New York Comedy Festival to Boston, Boulder and Rogue Island. Along the way, he’s opened for renowned acts like Ronny Chieng. 

Peng was born in China. His standup connects two worlds from growing up in China to living in the United States. His humor is A fusion of both his modern and traditional Asian experiences moving from China to the United States. Peng shares his point of view about going from being a majority to a minority. Being Chinese in China is normal . Being Chinese in America is a different story. Peng shares his stories in a hilarious way. He is smart, humble and can laugh at himself as he adapts to post-Chinese life in America. You will laugh and relate as he shares his life with you. Peng is a regular performer at the world famous Comedy Cellar and a Finalist in the New York's Funniest Stand-up competition.

Hosted by Jamie Wang. Jaime is a NYC-based standup comedian from Shanghai, previously based in Taiwan. She’s performed at the Just For Laughs Asia Gala, opened for Atsuko Okatsuka and Sheng Wang, and has been featured on NPR and Al Jazeera. She was named Best New International Act at the 2024 Melbourne International Comedy Festival and is a finalist for the 2025 BBC Funny Women Content Creator Award.
